A buddy has property near Lacys Spring / Morgan City. When do the bucks go in rut?
I hunt Madison Co. and saw 2 mature bucks running with does on Sunday.
I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.

there is no Rut in Morgan Co. There are no Deer in Morgan Co.
Id be there every time you had the chance over the next 2 weeks

I hunt a little west of Morgan city around the Somerville-Oden Ridge area and I have bucks still in groups as of last night on camera. They aren't even close and have never been as long as I've hunted the area. I haven't much that far East but the closest I have hunted to those areas don't rut until around January
