Found blood and tracked for about 60 yds pretty heavy then nothing? Any suggestions

I tracked blood for 60 yds then it just stopped? Scan the area with no luck. I know it’s a doe but I haven’t killed a deer so I’m really hoping to find this one. How does the blood look?

I'd go to the last blood you found, turn around and backtrack back a little paying close attention. I've had them double back on their trail. If there is water near by, I'd search in the direction of that, especially if it's down hill from you. Did you find your arrow? If so, did it smell like guts at all?

Found the arrow not fit smell at all. There is a creek 10 yards from the last spot I found blood.
Is the biggest puddle of blood the start or finish of the trail?

Where you shot her and found first blood is the beginning of the trail... Where you found the last blood is the end. Looks like a muscle shot, maybe brisket. I'd go to that creek and follow it and look for a hole big enough for her to lay down in.

Did you have blood all the way to the fletching? If not you might have ricochet off the shoulder.

Setup on a greenfield in Chilton Co. Looks like a great evening, hope the wind will lay down a little before sunset.

I posted my morning mishap in the serious deer forum. Been back on a new spot since 11:30 with the climber on a funnel field with oaks with two main trails coming in and out of it

Blood was all the way down to the fletching, brought a young dog out and couldn’t really get her to get on it. After 6 hours I’m calling it quits, gave it my best.
