Ok, Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Gildan--the normal everyday stuff sucks. They shrink up so bad after a month or so that they barely tuck in for someone who is very tall waisted and also fat--crating more surface area to cover than a regular person. Width and girth is fine, it is the hemline that moved 4" north that is the problem.

I need a good traditional COTTON tshirt for an undershirt that come in TALL sizes and will not shrink 4-5 inches like the others do.
Life Is Good tshirts---whatever kind they use are probably the best ever, as they do not shrink at all.

Any recommendations? Want 100% cotton or a mostly cotton blend.

I think Vapor Drive is something you should strongly consider when buying a tee shirt. grin

That said you probably don't want a completely 100% cotton tee. Buy a tee shirt with a tiny amount of spandex in it to give it a little stretch.

I personally like these:

I know this isn't what you asked, but I'm gonna post it anyway............I changed to an Under Armor heat gear shirt a few years back and it's been amazing. It's a short sleeve compression shirt (so it's super-thin and tight, but stretchy). I hated how regular undershirts would bunch up or feel bulky under a regular shirt. This one is skin-tight, so it doesn't bunch up, but it's so thin and light that it feels like not wearing one at all. And because it's stretchy, it stays tucked in.

They're expensive, as undershirts go, at about $20-25 each, but they're worth it. I have a couple of them. I wear the same one 2-3 days in a row (if I'm just sitting at a desk not sweating), then alternate for a couple of days.

Not really, no. If it's questionable, I won't do it. But when you just sit at a desk for a few hours then take it off and it still smells like laundry detergent/dryer sheets, you're good to go.

I had the same issue. Found some at Belk (saddle bred or something like that) the regular sizes are very long. They don’t shrink much at all. Comparable in price to Hanes etc.

Surely Duluth has something , course they won't be cheap. Their 's have long tails that stay tucked, btw.

If I wear a long sleeve oxford shirt (Which I do most days at the office), then I wear an undershirt (Tee shirt actually) it's stretchy and fitted. If I wear a polo shirt or a tee shirt I don't wear an undershirt.

I just grew up wearing tee shirts under dress/casual, button up, collard shirts. I guess it's kind of like wearing a watch or a belt. Some people don't wear them. I do.

I wear an undershirt 6 days a week. Seeing a mans nipples thru a thin dress shirt is plain nasty. So I sweat a good bit and helps me from looking like I am lactating. As Ish said, I was raised to wear undershirts. I never wear a V neck either.
