My daughter drives an older Civic that needs some work. She lives in Birmingham. Is she going to get treated fairly by the B’ham area dealers? PM if needed.

you can take it to a dealership if you want to pay 2×-3× more for some kid right out of Tech school to work on it. most dealerships couldnt find a problem if it hit them in the face if they cant read it on a computer code your SOL. find a mechanic that runs his own shop.

Power steering issues. She is a fiercely independent young lady. She showed me the bill after the fact. I think they saw her coming.

Skip the dealer always imo if out of warranty. Find a small shop of good folks do you 10x better.
