Anybody else having problems this year? They have infiltrated two vehicles parked in the drive and my dog food multiple times. Where do these little bastages come from, what are they looking for and is there anything I can broadcast in the yard to kill the whole colony

They are called Crazy Ants. Yes, they are everywhere this year. You can't poison them with normal ant poison. Go to Lowe's and read up on the stuff they have there. I put out stuff at our club last weekend. I hope it is better when I go back.

They are everywhere over here too. Barry is right, I've poisoned with ant stuff and it doesan't seem to bother them. Thanks for their name Barry. I'll read up on killing them.

I have killed the crap out of them this year with Terro if they come in the house.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

They're called sugar ants, and if you have fireants in your yard you probably don't have sugar ants. My neighbors have sugar ants something terrible. I have fireants, but no sugar ants. I have no science to back in this theory but in my experience if you actively poison the fireants, you'll have sugar ants.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I have the little black bastages,,, I live in a two story wood frame wood siding house,,, plenty of places for them to enter,,,, I've used raid and whether it kills them or not I don't know but they disappear or die and it's several months before I see them again.
What's worse is this year with all the rain we've had in south Alabama I had fire ants invade my house,,,, how would you like to be in your jammies watching tv in the your den and one of them little red devils bites you on your sack.. I had to treat the whole down stairs with raid fire ant killer and that fixed those little red savages....
If your house goes black you may never get it back...

My work car was the first to be invaded and they started a nest underneath the passenger floormat. They got in my truck for the third time, came in the kitchen window and are all over the garage. I need it to hit 28 degrees for a few hours,

General listen to me this works! We have to do this at camp, spray ant poison all around your tires (anything making contact with the ground) this will solve your problem

When you say stuff like, "how would you like to be in your jammies watching tv in the your den and one of them little red devils bites you on your sack.. I had to treat the whole down stairs with raid fire ant killer and that fixed those little red savages" , I can't help but to literally laugh out loud. Better be careful treating the whole downstairs with Raid. it sounds like that would burn like hail.

The odds of them being crazy ants are almost 0. Fipronil will kill them
We will burn that bridge when we get there
