I hope you have a cardiologist on speed dial . Not any time soon. I don't know how considering how I eat, but for now I'm in great cardiac health. BP is normal, all labs are good, cholesterol is well below 200 and my good cholesterol is actually high. Adult with no risk factors has a 1.6% risk of cardiovascular disease or event. I'm at a 2.1%. Weird. If I lost weight and only had cheeseburgers and fried chicken as special treats instead of regular consumption it would be even better. I'm sure it will catch up with me at some point, then I'll be on a rabbit diet.

Cholesterol is a myth. I know thin guys with extreme high cholesterol and fat guys with good cholesterol. Fact is, laying on the couch will kill you, but cholesterol won't.

Cholesterol is a myth. I know thin guys with extreme high cholesterol and fat guys with good cholesterol. Fact is, laying on the couch will kill you, but cholesterol won't. Truth is cholesterol isn't linked to weight or activity level. Two things impact cholesterol--diet and genetics. High cholesterol over extended period can absolutely lead to heart disease. Heart disease kills people. No myth.
