All joking aside. I assume most of them taking something extra. You can rest assured they are if they think they can get away with it, at every school. The coaches may not be in on it at some schools, but the players will be looking for every advantage they can get.

Sure...it can happen. People get banned for not disclosing allergy medicine. Also people are frequently lied to by nutritionist on “supplements” It’s a very screwy system. I’m just saying I hope it something more like that, not like intentionally cheating to get ahead

Well auburn changes its mind each year big or small
across the board this year they are up 10 to 15 pounds. I.e. Kam martin from 185 to 196.
I really believe the Shaun Shivers kid is going to be a phenom. He is like 5' 3 170 plus and they will get him to 190 which will be crazy on that frame.

If you’ve ever seen the laundry list of banned substances the NCAA puts out, you’d wonder how any player could truly not be in violation of it. Caffeine in excess of a certain amount is on that list along with a ton of other stuff that I can’t even pronounce, much less know if it’s in a supplement. The NCAA doesn’t (to my knowledge) blood test athletes which would be the only way one could fail for most of those substances. I’d assume the NFL likely has a comparable list of substances but they have the resources to test for them. The random screens given when I played football were basically like a pre-employment screening (drug urine test). I played at a small school but the larger universities likely could put their athletes on a supplemental regimen that would qualify as PED’s if the NCAA tested them for it. However you don’t hear of any players failing a test for those, just the illegal substances. The NFL is a different story and I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to fail a test even if not intentionally trying to gain an advantage.

I'd be willing to bet there is a BIG difference between the NCAA testing and what the NFL player's association tolerates.

A banned chemical was listed by a different name. Todd Bates was 15 years ago. In the age of HGH, etc, a different lifetime. PED's have been in the news big-time the past half-dozen years or so. Absolutely zero excuses nowadays...especially for college and pro athletes with dedicated staffs for this exact thing.

They can get whatever they need thru the team and they need to realize that.

99% of them do...I truly don't see how any of them get that big without some form of chem help.

I propose doing away with any questions. You don't get it cleared from the Doc, no pay, period even if an appeal overturns it. In other words, make them get it cleared first.

What you usually see is a player get hurt and to get healed quickly, they take something. I think he got hurt last year some.
