My main reason is it’s a hassle to order

I heard Nitro TSS shells were out patterning federal and apex but don’t know that for a fact. There was a lot of talk of overpressure issues with nitro a couple years ago. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? As rackhunter stated, I bet the main thing that keeps them behind is having to order their shells, if in fact they are behind.

I quit using them a few years ago due to having a couple that wouldn't eject. Never had another brand that wouldn't eject out of that gun. They would flat out kill a turkey, tho.

I never had any issues with ordering or their shells. Maybe something has changed the last year or two. I've never tried their TSS loads, but their regular loads were awesome for me.

Too difficult to order. I could never get anyone to answer the phone. I have a problem begging to give my money to someone. I moved on to TSS

I always emailed them and they usually responded pretty quickly. Most times though, I just printed an order form and sent my money in ... but I didn't wait until a month before the season either. I had considered trying their TSS shells but still have plenty of my own loaded up.

They're pretty infamous for poor customer service and over pressure shells. Prior to TSS, they were the cats meow in turkey shells. They should've jumped on the TSS bandwagon earlier on. They had a competitive advantage as the best commercially available turkey shell, and they let that slip away. By getting in behind apex and at the same time as federal, they're late to the dance with a poor reputation to go with it.

I agree with crenshawco. They had the market for the best commercially available turkey shells for years and just let it slip away. They knew the that TSS was going to take the market by storm at some point and instead of be pro active it appears that they sat back and waited for someone to put it out before them.

I've always been curious if they have ever had litigation filed against them. No way you can have over pressured shells splitting hulls and someone somewhere down the line not getting hurt or a gun being damaged. I think it was Yek that posted some Nitro hulls that split that looked like a party favor.

I saw a post on one of the social media site thingys where somebody cracked an IC choke in an A-5 shooting after shooting a Nitro TSS loads (or at least that is what they claimed). I guess time will tell if was a faulty choke, faulty firearm, or faulty ammo.

Give them a break man...........They have just gotten caught up on the Hevi-shot orders.
