I spent the past 2 days sorting and cleaning brass, mostly .308.

I also put together some .270 loads to test in the Ruger #1 and Savage Axis....130gr partitions and H4831

Tested the loads I put together yesterday.....Ruger #1 in 270 LOVES 60gr H4831 under a 130gr Partition, Savage axis likes it, also. the 2 6.5cm Savage axis rifles I worked with today both liked 40.5 grains of H4350 under a 143gr ELD-X.

Gonna get a good supply of both loaded up tomorrow.

Finally found a load for this predator. My first load ever. Took 36 shots to get a group I liked. Sat down and loaded a box after that.

Got a set of used 30-40 krag dies. A clean up is always the first step before using.
Into the sink with hot soapy water and a degreaser. Dried in the oven an recoiled an now ready to go.

My new-used dies arrived. I was able to add an additional die to the group. So the 7.62 Russian, 7mm magnum, and the additional 8x57 Mauser all went into hot soapy water and got a good scrubbing inside an out. Then dried in the oven and lightly oiled ready for their next performance.

Just bought some once fired brass from US Reloading. Most of the 223/5.56 was crimped primers. Off to sportsman's warehouse to pick up a primer pocket swager from RCBS. Did a great job right out of the box. Made short work of 200 .223/5.56 & 100 7.62x39. Deprimed an in the S/S tumbler now.
