Brown quail in cast iron skillet with 1 stick of melted butter and Victory Lane Garlic Jalepeno seasoning.
Add olive oil and vegetables and sweat down adding Victory Lane seasoning as desired
2 pkg mushrooms
1 pkg mixed peppers
1 bunch of celery
1 onion
1 bunch of green onions
Add 4 pkgs of Long Grain and Wild Rice Uncle Ben’s packets
Add 10-12 ounces of chicken broth
1/2 can of Campbell’s Creamed Mushroom and roasted garlic
Add cooked bacon cut into small chunks
Add quail back in and finish with a little more seasoning,
I sweat it on the Green Egg by closing vents down and capping it off. It really steams it up.
Truthfully, any white meat type game bird would work well and I'm thinking teal or word ducks would too!
