Any recommendations on a bass fishing guide for smith lake in April? Also a striper guide? Not much experience there and I have a group of friends all meeting up to catch some good spots and stripers on top. Or just any suggestions on how to start fishing there? Thanks

Brent Crow of Hartselle, FLW pro and a great guide on Smith. Fished Smith today did well with Spoons and jigs in 35 to 40 feet on timber. Good luck and have fun.

Let us know how that trip goes.

Quick update...I would highly recommend Brent Crow to anyone interested. The bite was tough but he took us to several different areas and explained each. When I say different areas, I don't care much about specific spots, I am talking more about types of banks and points to look for. As we fished each he had tips that taught me a lot about fishing the lake. We still caught a lot of fish and he helped me with some techniques I haven't tried before. I would give more specifics but he was doing some stuff that I feel was pretty unique and I don't want to give away his secrets. Ended up catching them pretty good through the week including my new personal best spot 5.2! To illustrate my earlier point, we caught fish in a bunch of different locations that had the features Brent was showing me. Again, I would highly recommend Brent! Thanks for all the recommendations.
