Y'all should be getting into that Dec. lull or within a week. From what I've been seeing and hearing about killed in your area I'm not sure you will be able to tell when the lull begins. Hunters are struggling out there this year. 2 weeks is not enough time to panic like some are. It just happens sometimes.

Yep, getting very close to the December lull. We have seen one shooter this year, which is slow and heard very few shots. Howerver we have seen many nice 8s that just werent old enough yet. Should get back interesting around Christmas. Have 4 real nice bucks we are after this year.

4 does so far this morning in cutover.

Ok WOW!!! Ive had hunts ruined several different ways but heres a new one. Im sitting here on the edge of this greenfield and im hearing a helicopter coming and I mean coming LOW!!It's got a steel cable attached to what looks like 20 ft of circular sawblades on it trimming trees along a power line right of way. This thing was also getting low enough to be in treestand heighth- it's still out there but now I'm sitting here thinking if the wind had been different and I had set up over there this morning would i even be safe???? Anyone feel free to answer this for me!
