Are there counties in Alabama where the deer consistently go into Rut in Nov?

There’s places around Eufuala that do. I think there is also a Nov rut around Cleburne Co.

All of the land along the Chattahoochie on the east side of the state has an early rut.

Up and down the eastern side of the state, areas around Chocolocco WMA, Bankhead forest, and some areas in and around Limestone and Lauderdale Co have Nov breeding. There may be more.

It's very true crenshawco, but if you research state history you will find long long ago Alabama hardly had any deer!

All genetics, depends on where the stocking deer originated from.

We absolutely have a short rut in (northern) Crenshaw County on my place. It's only a few deer, but most years it happens. On the other end of the spectrum I had a doe still pregnant on 20 OCT. LoL. (Early April breeding date).

I hunt north central Madison Co., the rut begins 2nd week of Dec. I also hunt in west Jackson Co (less than 30 miles away as the crow flys) and the rut there starts in mid January.

I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.
