I'm about to go to bed and have an interview in the am so I won't be able to reply back until after lunch.
2 weekends ago we had to go a wedding and ended up spending a good amount of time outside. I love cold weather but my sinuses will flair up pretty quick. It usually starts with pressure in my eyebrows. I suffered with it until Wednesday (11/1) and decided Thursday morning I was going to run to the Dr and take a day to recover. I was running a good fever so it had gotten to the point of sinus infection. I felt terrible. They gave me a shot and some antibiotics and I went back home and got in bed. Later that day I started to feel a little better...I'm guessing from the steroid shot.
Friday morning I get up and still feel pretty bad but decide to go in to work. I get there and around 11 am I start feeling like I'm running a pretty bad fever again and my boss takes one look and says you need to go home and get some rest. I had planned to hunt Saturday so instead of going home I decide I'll just head up to the club and get in my camper where it's quiet, take some benadryl and sleep and hopefully feel better for the Saturday am hunt. I get to my camper around 1:30 and fall asleep quick. At 3:30 I wake up feeling pretty queasy. My stomach had been messed up for half a day Thursday and Friday but I was assuming the antibiotics were the culprit. They tend to mess me up. I lay there for a few minutes and it hits me. I'm about to puke my brains out. I jump out of bed and bolt out of the camper and puke for about the next 10 minutes. Go back in thinking man those antibiotics did a number on me. I'm in the camper another 2 minutes and back out the door I go.
Fast forward to 5:30ish and I decide I'm dying and to head to Stevenson where I have cell service and can tell my wife I love her. I get out there, call her and buy some gatorade. Take 2 sips and puke it right back up. So, I decide I'm going to Scottsboro and buying some anti nausea medicine from Walmart. Puke it right back up. Defeated I call my wife and ask her what I need to do. She tells me to find an urgent care and get a shot of Zofran. I google it, all urgent care offices in Scottsboro closed so I call her back and she calls into Walmart pharmacy an Rx for Zofran and Phenergan. I take both, puke them right back up and call her back. She calls Walmart again and gets me an Rx for Phenergan suppositories filled. I decide I can't wait and get in my truck in the back seat to do what I need to do. In my haste to get the medicine working, I don't realize there is a church bus from TN pulling in to the parking spot right next to me. They turn on their interior lights and along with the lights in WM parking lot, my interior is fully illuminated. Here I am, pants around my ankles, arched up and inserting a suppository in front of 10-15 yutes pointing out a church bus window in shock. I don't know what they did after they got out of the bus. Just know if you saw a white Silverado peeling out of Walmart Friday night, it was me.
I have had some embarrassing moments in my life but this one is the worst. It's hilarious now and my wife will never let me live it down. I've seen some funny stories on here so I thought I would share it with y'all.
I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

I thank God that I have never had to experience another online forum that told diarrhea stories like the ones on Aldeer.

but I'm not sure.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

there are some things real men just don't share with strangers. Tender moments with our ladies and details about our private parts are definitely two of those things.

Man. I'm glad I don't get sick. Never ever been even close to sick that I needed to stick something up my butt. Much less throw up like that. That must be bad sick.
