Hello folks, I have been watching these forums for a while and decided to join. I live in Western Kentucky and have been down to Alabama several times for a public land hog hunt. I was hoping that someone would be interested in a hog hunting rights only lease. I have been hunting since I was 6 years old. I'm very respectful of others and their rights. Please let me know of any clubs that may be interested. I would prefer a north Alabama area since I would not be able to make it very much. Thank you in advance.

You could probably talk somebody into a trade for a west Kentucky deer hunt.

I only have 8 acres of my own land that I hunt. I wished I had more land. I would definitely be interested in a trade! We have some nice deer here in Western Kentucky. If you guys need some help thinning out those pigs on your property I would definitely be interested in helping out. I would even share the meat from them. I eat everything I shoot.

Good luck!!! Hogs are not nearly the problem that they are made out to be by the media and the people that read about them in a outdoor magazine but have never seen a hog in the wild. If they were such a problem I wouldn't be having to pay $3500 a year to have enough places to hunt them in the off-season. It's hard to find a place with a actual huntable population of hogs other than the lower delta WMA that someone will let you hunt.

Thank you bayedup . I bet I will end up taking a trip down south and hunt them during small game season on a wma. I've tried black warrior wma and seven Mile wma so far. I better be dead on with my 22 mag! Lol.

Bayed up, I'm not sure where you are hunting but if I was over my "lease" I would sign him up in a heartbeat! You can't feed deer nor hunt greenfields at my place without being run over with them. They are a nuisance and hope they all die!

Bayed up, everytime I have deer in the field at my place and hogs show up the deer scatter for whatever reason. Maybe it's just our deer...

I saw hogs in a plot with deer this past weekend although they were around 400 yards apart.

I would like to thank you guys for your replies to me. I believe that I have found a club that is going to work with me. If not I will be back on here looking! I hope when I make it back down from Kentucky I get to meet up with some of you guys. Thanks again for all the help.

Sorry for the hijack i'm looking for some hogs to hunt also. I have a deer lease but we are lucky that no hogs exist up where we are. I need some organic pork for sausage! If anyone can help please send me a PM. Lifelong respectful, honest hunter looking for some meat!
