Got on the board earlier than I figured this season. Wouldn't you know it, he came off the ridge to my right, the only spot in that stand I don't have some cover. Thankfully I was already standing with my bow in hand. I positioned myself to where I thought he would run right in front of my stand but he made a b line to my right instead...at 5 yards. So instead of getting the 10-15 yard broadside shot, I got the near straight down shot with my legs facing forward and my upper body doing a pretzel...But, I hit him on the run at 5 yards and he dropped in 25.

Congrats! That sucker has some loooooooooong legs  I noticed. When I first saw him moving through the undergrowth and couldn't see his head I thought he was a lot younger.
