Hunting in the Rocky Mountains has kinda dampened my enthusiasm for the Alabama opener. But I’m ready and will be sitting in a tree at sunrise. Funny how that happens ain't it. My trip to Wyoming almost killed my appetite for Alabama. If it wasn't for my kids & grandkids being so far away, I'd already be a resident of Montana or Wyoming.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I'm dang sure ready. I'll be up at camp the whole first week. Be on doe patrol and see if I can get lucky and stick my first rack with the bow. Got a giant swamp chestnut oak that historically is loaded. Hoping the same holds true this year
