Damn i wanna go Fine buck deer by the way! You and me both. Basically, about 5 years ago when my uncle died he started carrying his camper up there and hunting public land. Met a farmer in some restaurant that had 4k acres and found out Matt's a bow hunter. Asked him if he wanted to hunt it no charge. He bought a little cabin on the opposite side of the property for like $20k. It isn't a super nice cabin..just a place to sleep and eat. So basically, he is hunting 4k acres in Illinois for next to nothing and is the only one with hunting rights.

I'm happy for him. The guy is a heck of a shot with a stick bow too. He is always trying to get me to hunt stands of his on our property since he's in Illinois and I just don't feel comfortable hunting 25-30 feet up. Not because of a fear of heights, I just don't have that kind of talent.
He killed a big 10 point on our property a few years back. 35 yard shot, 25 feet in the tree, and the deer 2 shelves down from him. Blows my dang mind man.
