What is the most deer you have killed in one season? This is kind of a spin off from the total count thread. The most I've ever killed in a season is 2 but I remember my grandpa telling me he hunted an 800 acre farm in Bullock county with my uncle and his 2 cousins. He told me that he killed 130 deer off that property in 8 years. I don't know if he was exaggerating or not but that's more than 15 a year this would have probably been in the 80s.
But back on topic how many deer have y'all killed in one season?

When we were severely over populated and trying to reduce the population, one year I killed between 25 and 30. Together as a group we killed over 130. Now I might kill 5 a year.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Killed 14 one season with my bow. 10 bucks and 4 does. Next season I killed 17 with a bow. Again 10 bucks and 7 does.

Never kept up with how many in one season, but I did kill 2 does and 1 buck in one morning. We were bad over populated back then.

3 in one morning. Won't do that again by myself.
15-20 per year when I was young and ran dogs in Society Hill.
Hard core slaying there back in the 80's.

The most I've killed is 7 - now between me and my daughter we kill 5 a year. We keep 2 in the freezer for ourselves, 1 for mom and dad, and 2 for the property owners (That's how I pay for my lease lol)

most was 32-34 on year. I killed 30+ for several years in a row.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

With just normal hunting the most I killed in a year was 9.
However, I spent a night one summer in the early 1990s shooting deer at a farm in Dallas County. I killed somewhere around 20 that night. I shot a box of shells.

Back in early 80's my cousin & I killed about 50-55 between us. We were thinning the herd at our Uncles discretion. The deer were eating his crops as fast as he could get them in the ground. The area still has a healthy deer population but the majority (90%) of his farmland is now pine plantation. The turkey hunting is awesome but I live too far away to hunt it effectively anymore.
