I've been camping at some beautiful places but this one ranks on up there at the top of the list. Fixing to get the kids up to pack up our backpacks for some hiking and swimming.

It's an awesome park. The all you can eat seafood buffet is awesome too. Frog legs and crab legs on it. I asked my wife to marry me at the bottom of the falls.

It's a nice place. The buffet is good. If you want good hiking which is Close to there check out savage gulf. Better hiking to me and not near as crowded

Is savage gulf the fiery gizzard trail? If it is we did that last year. We just hiked to the bottom of the falls and it's really nice. We did the cable trail last year and my kids really enjoyed that so that's gonna be our next adventure of the day:)

It's part of it. But fiery gizzard is on south end of it. It's a real long nature reserve. The north end of it is up towards where you are. Take hwy 111 south from where you are about 5 miles or so and you will see the sign turning off to your right for savage gulf. Go to savage gulf ranger station and several hikes start there.
