I've been mixing MMO in my ATV fuel for the past year and half. I barely ride the thing but the carb has stayed really clean. Does anybody else use it?

Humm,

You have my attention.

Please tell more.

I've always heard about MMO from a lot of people.

Honestly, I read it on an ATV forum and decided to give it a try. I'm no expert but from what I read, MMO is supposed to coat the inside of your carb and therefore, make it more difficult for the gunk to stick and accumulate.

Had a buddy in high school that had a old grand torino, he put MMO in his windshield washer tank and routed the hose to one of the carburetors. When he hit the washer switch he could lay a smoke screen you could hide the A-team in. We thought it was the coolest thing ever, until the cops saw him do it in front of the school one afternoon!

I use a quart to a full tank of diesel, but I've got a 44 gallon tank.

I've heard good things, never used it. If it's any better than Sea Foam I couldn't stand it.

And, that is more than what the instructions say. However, it hasn't seemed to hurt anything by using more than what is recommended.

Been using it for 35 years. If it requires gas and I own it then you can rest assured that it has MMO in it.I have never had carb problems and I accredit that to the MMO.

We used it rebuilding and running old Harley engines that had to have the heads converted for unleaded fuel and it worked great.

I put it in the crankcase up to two quarts between oil changes. It's basically the cleaning additives that are in very good motor oils.

One quart in my old 350 gas powered chevy crankcase raised the oil pressure from 5-10 at idle to 20 at idle. Started using it at 190k on that truck and have used it since on any that leak or burn a little oil.

Never run it in the fuel. Do use seafoam occasionally.
