They were the best I have ever had before. I rinsed them off, cut the slab in half, rubbed down both sides with bad byron's butt rub, and smoked them for 4 hours at 250-260. They were tender, dripping with juice, and nasted awesome. I have another rack on now. smile

This grill holds the heat so well that it just amazes me. Once you get it the heat set you can just forget about it and come back in a few hours to get your prize or sit around and look at guns, drink beer, and bs like we did lastnight. laugh

Once I pulled the ribs off I threw on some corn on the cob, whole red potatoes, smoked sausage, brats, and a couple slices of pork tenderloin. It was a great night of eating and drinking.

looks good, I'm glad to hear you are happy with the grill. Makes me want one even more. I have always cooked with charcoal. I owned one gas grill and swore I'd never have another one, now I want to experience the kamado style cookers.

Lets plan it, heck anyone that wants to come over can come. I have plenty of places to sit and eat now with the deck and rain or shine we can make it happen.

I want to try a whole one but all I have is breasts. I will thaw a breast soon and smoke it up for a few hours. I know it will be great.

I sliced up some red potatoes pretty thick today, covered them in butt rub, used some spray butter on them and cooked them on the top rack for 1.5 hrs at 250. They were tender and tasty.

lol pretty much. I hasn't hardly cooled off since Friday at about 4 pm. I cooked on it until Saturday morning about 2 am and shut it down, fired it back up Saturday about 2 pm and shut it down after midnight lastnight, started it back up at 10 am this morning and cooked until about 2 hours ago. I have about got the hang of it now and really like it.

When I got mine I kept them running for about 3 months straight it seemed. I cooked everything from Asparagus to Zucchini.

Cooked pies, bread, breakfast casseroles and even did some stir fry in a wok. About the only thing I haven't tried yet is to make ice cream on it.

Get one and you'll understand.

Won't be long before you will be selling Yekrut franchises all across Alabama. Who knows, you might even get on the TV show about the BBQ competitions!!!
