Need a little help. I inherited my Granddaddy's old ( 1918 ) Model 12 , 12 gauge Winchester. I want to load a few TSS shells and shoot a turkey or two with it. It's a 2 3/4" chamber with a open bore.

I would like to buy about a 6-12, new primed 12 ga 2 3/4" hulls. I also need the same amount of CSD-078 or TUWSBL24 wads. I have access to everything else.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

Mine shot the 2 3/4" Winchester high brass #6 game loads very well. It's a full choke though.

Don't hold the trigger down when you rack a shell in it though, as it will fire every time you pump it.

I have the hulls for you. Not sure if I have the wads.

God Bless,
David B.

I'll take what I can get, but it would be good if I can get both from one feller.

Mine started it's life as a full it's now shot out to a improved cylinder, and that's the second barrel! Anyone tells you they wore out a Model 12 Winchester is lying.

You sure your's will shoot , holding down the trigger and pumping ? Mine won't , I tried it. Model 12 you should have to let up on the trigger to set the sear. Now a model 97 ( model with a hammer) will, they are very dangerous guns.
