A lung shot sometimes has a foam to it. Pinkish blood. Other shots can have bubbles but they don't foam. Lung blood can also not have foam depending on how the exit hole is. Lung blood foam also dries looking very similar to any other hit.

I would think the so called "bubbles" would be produced from the nose while breathing with blood in the nasal cavity. Doesn't technically mean lung shot though. Sometimes when lung shot, pink frothy blood does come out of the deer's nose.
