Some years ago, we had some issues with theft in a place we leased in Marion junction. There was a group of blacks that lived near by, the culprits obviously lived there. My dad went over and knocked on doors trying to get things straight. A few weekends later, a chainsaw was stolen. He brought my uncle down there, who has several fully automatic weapons (licensed), had all of them come out of their trailers and homes while my uncle sprayed a couple hundred rounds across the catfish ponds next to their little community. Simply said, stop stealing chit or else. Never had another thing stolen in 12 years of leasing that place.

there are real time GPS tracking devices but you have to subscribe to a monthly tracking service. That's still better than having your stuff stolen and never recovered.

I'd go ahead and dig some holes a good ways from camp. That's just me though.

Honest question. Would an average Alabama jury convict a man of shooting a thief? Let's assume it's not in Birmingham. Mobile, or Montgomery. I think he walks. While I don't think advising people to commit murder on the interwebs is a good idea, I wouldn't call him an idiot. I give him 80/20 odds of getting away with it with an Alabama jury.

In Dallas county, a white man kills a black man who is in the yard when the white man is in the house, he is going to be charged. You can not legally kill someone who is in your yard even if they are stealing your stuff. But, you guys go ahead. Then you will have to hire one of of those dreaded lawyers to try and keep your stupid ass out of prison.

Your more likely to be found not guilty in any criminal case is Jefferson, Mobile or Madison Counties than anywhere in the black belt.

Y�all don�t know the black folks around here too well. Many of them are good folks who are tired of the same chit. If you get a jury of anything but the thugs themselves� I bet you walk. They ain�t just stealin from white people.
