What are you guys paying. Getting prices in the $ 400 to $425 range for a shoulder mount.

Mine is costing me $425 without a plaque. I had quotes from 425-475
I know you don't ask but the quotes I got for European Mount were 150-175
I would make 100% sure they tan the hides because that would be the most important thing. Also wouldn't hurt if they were apart of a taxidermy association

Euro mount for me is 100. Quality and done in under 2 weeks. Shoulder mount is 325 if I remember right. Usually done is 1-2 months.

I don't price a quality shoulder mount. If it's big enough for me to take it to a taxidermist I want the highest quality work done regardless of price. Last one I had done was in 2013.

Guy I use went up to 550 no plaque last year. He had gotten so backed up last couple of years that he wanted to focus on quality. He knew some clients would go elsewhere but that was, making up lost income through price instead of quantity.
