My four year old had tubes adenoids and tonsils about a month ago. We had 0 issues. He about starved to death cause he's a picky eater anyway. But other than that it went very well

I had all of those procedures done including fixing a deviated septum between the ages of 10 and 12. The nose surgery was the longest recovery. I'm 35 now and very glad I had all of that done. I had constant sinus and ear infections as a child.

He should do fine at that age. I had mine out at 6 and the main thing I remember was being able to eat all the ice cream I wanted.

My kid had his adenoids and tubes put inhis ears three weeks ago. He is 11 months. He cried like the dickens waking up from anesthesia but was eating and playing in three hours like nothing ever happened. I heard tonsils can hurt a little more but can't relate to that.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

Prayers sent. Always wished I'd had my tonsils out when I was a kid. Think I would have had fewer sore throats later.
Dad had his taken out in his late 60s and had bacon and eggs for breakfast the next morning. But he's kind of a special case.

Yup both of my sons were done at the same time!!!! Roughest part was probably when their throats started to heal, the numbing suckers were a life saver

I was in speech until I was in 6th grade, and still struggle saying big words today because I couldn't hear as a kid. You are doing the right thing.
