Well add us to the list of camps broken into. Anybody know the closest pawn shop to Greensboro?
Kicked in the front door and looks like took their time. Took everything but the furniture and mounts on the wall. Flipped over ever bed and emptied ever drawer. Why just break stuff to do it? I would rather them just take everything and leave than to just throw crap around and break it just b/c they did not want it.
TV’s, heaters, alarm clocks, window units, meat grinder, vacuum sealer, slicer, boot dryers, refrigerator, washer, dryer, etc…- you name it we probably had it there. Even took the damn water hose. No telling really what all was taken, guess when we get to looking for it we will know.

Damn Bastages. Sounds like black folks ( well they probably wouldn't have left furniture) to me, they broke in the old camp (before I was a member) and stole the cabinets off the wall and even took the damn screws

Call Steve Barnette at Barnette Furniture tell him what was stolen also Trade-n-traffic in Demopolis is a pawn shop. Where is your camp located? I can put some word out but don't know if it would do any good.

Camp is located right off 51 on 85. All our land is between 25, 51, 85 & 32 that block of land.

Man I hate that for you. Another thing you can try is securing the place. It would take bars on the windows and a steel door in a steel frame.
Where I grew up, violent crime is simply unheard of. Every house has a steel door and window bars though. The grinding poverty lends to a culture of thievery. The thieves here will brag about it though as where the thieves there kept there mouths shut.

There was a camp here in Clayton that got turned into a brothel one summer. They had an old computer set up at the entrance, complete with pictures of the "women" to choose from. The rest of the place was sectioned off via a clothes line and white sheets. The hunters still stay there.

I have a washer and dryer I'll give you if you want them. My parents just bought a new house and it already had them there so I got the ones they were using. They work fine. I'm in hoover.

Great bunch of guys on this site always willing to help another member out even when they have never meet one another. Thanks for the offer stkshtr  but looks like we already got a replacement. One of the other guy's wife unit has been wanting new washer and dryer for Xmas so he is going to go ahead and get them tomorrow and bring his old ones from home this weekend. Sherriff said that 3 other camps were hit Sunday night down the road. We had 1 member there Sunday night so guess they just waited for him to leave after Monday's afternoon hunt. As for another question someone had - Yes there was a camera but guess you need to check the batteries in it once in awhile to make sure it is still working  . We just knew we had them busted. Amazing all the junk that 5 guys can accumulate.
