How are you reporting your kills this year? Or are you...
If I remember correctly the rules say it's mandatory before you move the animal. You can use the phone, website, or app.
I have not made up my mind yet so I'm interested in what y'all think.

I logged one with the app, fast and easy. I had trouble loading the app on my phone. It wouldn't accept my email. App is way to go if you can get yer phone to load it.

The Game Check is mandatory and you are supposed to report the kill within 48hrs.

You are supposed to record it on your harvest record before you move it. Then you are supposed to report it to gamecheck. Don't forget your pen.

I had trouble with the app so I just recorded it on my harvest record and reported it when I got home.

It took less then 30 sec for me to enter on the Game Check app. I did have the deer loaded and about to pull out on the road before I remembered. The app works great but my mind is a little slow.

Yall are right. Found this at the very bottom of the page.
"By using the OutdoorAlabama app, you can immediately record your deer or turkey on your harvest record - even if no cell phone service. Once service is available, it will automatically complete the transaction, issue the confirmation # and update your electronic harvest record."
I was going off of this:
"Following completion of the harvest record, hunters are required to report all deer harvests within 48 hours through Game Check using the Outdoor Alabama app for iPhone and Droid smartphones, online, or telephone (1-800-888-7690)."
I guess I don't really have to have a pen with me then!
