Don't paint your beard I use it when I'm bowhunting. I think it helps hide the shine on your face. I like the dead downwind stick. It seems to come off really easy

Baby wipes work really well for taking it off of your face, for your beard use a little shampoo

I keep a wine cork and lighter with me. burn the end of the cork and rub on face. takes a couple lights to get the whole face. washes off easy. not greasy. works great. Can re-use same cork for a very long time.
