Everyone's personal experiences will be different because all deer, scenarios, variables and such are different. That doesn't mean something is right or wrong or works always or never works.
But the tangible data collected in South Carolina and Georgia indicate harvests and sightings have been lower by those using corn. There is a big difference in data and speculation. Most of those that do use corn, do so under speculation that it helps. Scientists long ago identified "the placebo effect". If you believe something helps, then chances are, it will. Until I see data from a southeastern state showing that it held a benefit, I'll continue to be against it.

Yep those studies had strong correlation between feeding and lack of hunter satisfaction, kill rate, and sightings.

There's feeders in the woods every 200 yards now. Trust me. There are quite a few, but it's NOTHING like it is across the line in Florida from me. It's a catch 22 with those guys. Most hate it, but they're scared to death to not bait.

There's feeders in the woods every 200 yards now. Trust me. I have found several spots over the years where corn had been thrown out on the ground. Even found some on the refuge at Freedom Hills a few years back. I was in a club and they kicked a man out for putting out corn. Two years later the main cog that got the boy kicked out was caught by me and a friend feeding turkeys 1 week before season opened. I just shook my head. Getting busted was all it took.
I can't stand a thief.

I may be in the minority, but I don't see corn being that big of a gamechanger anyway. In my personal experience, it doesn't do a particularly good job bringing deer into a place they didn't want to go to begin with.
Now, if the deer were traveling through that spot to begin with, it might stop them long enough to get a shot, but I've also seen them totally ignore an area despite putting corn there.
just my $.02 Could school you on that one, but can't give out my secrets in case one day I get to use it!

Go to Florida they will appreciate your money there and you get to hunt over corn! Non-resident license just hurts a little. It can get expensive even if the bears don't destroy your feeders down here. By law, you have to keep the feeders tended and filled for 6 months continuously before you can hunt over it. It costs a couple of bucks, all right.
