1987 Defender 110 Tithonus RHD Softtop (Make an Offer)

This Tithonus Land Rover Defender was specially selected as the best in the fleet then fully refurbished by the MOD in 2007-2008 as part of the British Army LEP (Life Extension Program). The project was to extend the overall service life of the Land Rovers in order to keep them in service.

I know there are a few Land Rover model that aren't legal in the U.S. but I don't think the Defender is one of them.

They are legal. Back when I appraised for an insurance company I wrote an estimate on one, guy had rearended another vehicle.
He had a bullet hole in the passenger door. When I asked, he said he thought it would look cool. Then he said he wished he hadn't done it, because he F'd his phone up. I looked and the stock cell phone in the center console had a bullet in it. lol.
Nice rigs for sure, wish I had the $$.

It is absolutely legal and registered. The law is 25 years or older to be in the country because of the EPA requirements placed on imports because of US standards. For example, if it was a 92 it wouldn't be legal, however a 91 is perfectly legal and exempt from the EPA standards for import.
You cant get them into the country if they aren't 25 years old, and if you do there is no way you can get them registered.
