First of all I love this website. Y'all are some good folks on here. I've been coming here for years just reading posts and such. I think I joined a month or two ago and posted once or twice since. I just really need some sound advice. First of all I'm am deeply saddened about what our country is fast becoming. This is not the country I grew up in anymore. I just want my country back. I still believe in American and bleed red white and blue. I'm sure our fore father's are rolling in their graves right now. What's happened to true (Gravel in their Gut) Americans? Why is America becoming so soft? I just can't get my head around it. My question is what can I do as a red blooded American to stop this nonsense? I'm at a loss.

But to answer the op, get people involved and have them vote, then join the NRA And maybe lead these people to the cross. It's a never ending downward spiral without that.

I didn't mean to imply that the OP was the only one.
Lots of folks, not just on this site constantly bitch about the way things are and the direction things are going. Yet, that's all most folks do is come on a website and bitch and do nothing else.

Just a suggestion..but do a little Google research on who the players were in the Britain exit from the EU. I'll bet there we a lot of folks over there asking the same question you did, and they made a huge stride in fixing it.

Those are the facts. How do you know that's what most folks do? Have you tracked who has contacted their senators/representatives this week? Just because we complain a lot on this forum, doesn't mean we aren't active in trying to fix it.

Do all you can to make sure things in your house and the circle of people you're associated with are headed in the right direction. Scratch and claw to try to slow the mess down as much as you can. That's about all any of us can do. But if we were all doing just that, imagine how much better the world would be.

Mark, how can that surprise you after Obama was elected...Twice. You are a good guy but give people too much credit. If anyone actually knew what the hell was going on or educated themselves about their candidates he wouldn't have been elected the 1st time. EXAMPLE:Popular quote from people suffering from White Guilt (((NOT ME))) "I am voting for Obama because he will end racism". Obama proudly sat in Revered Wright's Congregation for 20 years. It's not bad enough that he pretends to be a Christian but that he also Chose to sit in the most racist Church in the midwest where a Racist screams racist and anti-American Bullshit every Sunday. It was out there for anyone to know but People are too damn lazy to do their own homework. They will follow the masses and do whatever the mainstream Liberal Media suggests. Look at where Race relations are now...worst ever.

Not sure how old you are but if you have kids, it starts with teaching them the principles and values that built this country. Too many parents fail to educate their kids on many of the ethics and principles of hard work, honesty, self reliance, independence, and responsibility. They also don't teach them the historical importance of our founding and constitution. The public education in this country is dominated by the left. They will not learn about these things in school. Period. It is on the ones raising future generations to educate their kids on these important issues. If you don't have kids, be a mentor to any young person that you have the opportunity to.
Get involved in local politics if you can. That's where you have the most impact. The left has been playing the long game for decades.. We won't reverse that over night.
