I had the Game Saver bronze. It broke shortly after we bought it. Took it back and bought the Game Saver Silver and love it.

I have a standard food saver type. Is the Silver better at sealing? Mine fails on some seals.

Bite the bullet and get a Weston Pro 2300..... I did and it's money well spent. This thing will outlast a dozen Food Savers plus, you can get replacement parts easily if needed. I haven't ever needed any.
