I've had this happen before when I was shooting reloads. Rain collects in the barrel soaks tge powder and then poof!!!
Not the ammo.....

I know it's not funny and could have been real bad, but in the video where you said the shell "POOOP" made me laugh. That tickle the heck out of me. Don't hold that against me. Again I'm sorry Iaughed. No worries; I watched my own video & laughed at my own dang self, too. Clearly the video was cut "in the heat of the moment", raw & unfiltered. Glad I'm here to laugh about it vs. the alternative. BTW Winchester contacted me yesterday afternoon & sent me a UPS return label; the shells are boxed up & on their way back to them. I guess I'll use something else this weekend.

So ... now I gotta go get that spent shell out of the woods... I can't stand leaving Yelp marks in the woods. I always pick the feathers up and cover up any blood that may be there as well. I've been known to relocate feathers to where I want to tell folks the bird was killed as well.  that's what I do as well, only on public land. But I pick up my hull always

I had a Winchester extended range fail 6-7 years ago on a Tom. Firing pin struck two times. Shell never went off..... I mailed them the shell as requested. They sent me a $10 coupon good on Winchester products. I rarely shoot Winchester products anymore.

I checked the UPS tracking on my un-used shells & they haven't made it back yet... We'll see what happens... Meanwhile, my complaint video is one of the most popular ones on my channel... Maybe I should b*tch & gripe more often...

I'm wondering if there isn't something about the resin process that causes the misfires. It's in liquid form when they put it in there....
