I'm headed to Daphne for a soccer tournament this weekend and was thinking about taking the kayaks. Where are the specs and reds this time of year? Up in the Rivers or Bay? Fished Magnolia and Fish Rivers last year. Also fished in the little lagoon in Gulf Shores. That was later in the spring and early summer. Looking for a good kayak spot for specs and/or reds early next week. Thanks!

Check out mbkfa.com and you should be able to get some assistance. Still a little early for the east side reefs. I know all big rivers on the west side are very high from upstate rains.

I do not know enough about access and locations in the Magonlia, Fish or Weeks Bay area.

Top water and little lagoon if you wanted to go all the way to Gulf Shores.
