Skyline? May try and hunt skyline m.a.this season.How is the deer hunting around little coon creek and cave springs area? I haven't never hunted this area, getting out of current club and thought I might give it a try.

Do they plant food plots on the M.A. I see A lot of them on aerial view or is this private land?

They have alot of plot areas but few are planted anymore. Mainly the ones on top but with the road network up there good luck.

IF they were to plant them, you wouldn't be able to hunt them without 15 other people.

I,very never hunted there but I subscribe to AON magazine. there were a couple of very nice killed there in the January 23 through the 29th week 15. Looks like a good place to hunt.im not from that area so you will need to get the local hunters to tell you more about it.

Yeah I get the jest of it. The roads seem to be really wore out from all the riding.

Just looks like a good place to hunt,looks like a deer haven.All that land got to be a lot of deer. Does it get a lot of pressure?

Don't get me wrong, I love little coon. It's beautiful and has tremendous potential for some awesome deer hunting. In order for that to be realized there will need to be a serious shift in the management philosophies. This effects not only the WMA but all the surrounding areas.

Numbers I've heard and believe are that densities are down from 25 deer per square mile 4-5 years ago to 10-12 now
