Try em for breakfast as pancakes. Put some aunt J syrup on them. Don't knock it till you try it! Them and some biscuits is some count!

Gross. We couldn't afford real food and I ate so many Salmon patties as a kid that if evolution was possible I'd have gills. I wouldn't feed that to my dog.

I always make salmon patties when I'm mad at my husband! LOL He hates them. I love it if fresh salmon is used instead of canned.

Grill an entire filet of salmon. The next night use the left over grilled salmon to make patties, just enough breadcrumbs to hold them together, a few eggs and maybe a splash of old bay.
WOW!

I got creative a few years back and now they won't let me use salmon anymore.I cook catfish fillets in the oven with salt and pepper on them. When I get them out of the oven I mash em up and let em cool off so they don't cook the eggs. After the fish cools then I add enough eggs and corn meal mix[not plain corn meal]to bind it and skillet fry till golden brown. Then plate it up and top them with hot sauce and tomato relish.

My recipe...
2 cans salmon, drained 1/2 cup of sifted flour 1/2 cup of corn meal 2 eggs 1/4 to 1/2 cup mayo to hold 'em together
The mayo makes a big difference, at least to me.
