Couple more hours at the tire mine and I'm gonna run home get a shower then get in the Stand for a couple hours.... Haven't been seeing much early with it being this cold so maybe I'll have some luck getting in a little later

I would be there if I was off today. I take a lot of my PTO during deer season, like most Friday's and Monday's and here lately the weather hasn't cooperated the best (rain, storms). I am definitely going to be off this Friday and next Monday and then the 29th and then Feb. 1,5,8,9,10 regardless of the weather.

Been in stand since daylight. Beautifuk sunrise this morning. Real quiet, no movement or noise in the woods. Think whole place it still in bed, I think the deer forgot to set the alarm

New deer sniffer showed up this morning. Medium sized dog he walked out on a deer trail, followed it all the way to the bedding area, thought he might help me for a few. He sniffed all around where I normally see deer. He didn't jump anything, I just let him do his thing.

Heading out here in a little while. Been under the weather the last couple of days. Had to go to the doc this morn. Got shots in both hips, one arm and two meds. that not going to keep me from going this afternoon. Ill sit in one of our shooting houses with a heater though. Not going to set out in the weather and get worst!
