Is there a law that makes it illegal to possess one? I know where a few are laying on the ground and would like to hang one on the wall with all of my public land bucks. I also do skull mounts and had a guy ask if I could mount one of them signs on a fence post with a deer.

Better check with the area warden first. So they know you didn't rip it off tree
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I think whether it is hung up or on the ground is irrelevant. I think you'd have a hard time defending yourself if you got caught with it.

I dunno about signs but where are you and how much you get for a skull mount. Got a smallish 8 in freezer that needs a skull mount.

Nowhere near guntersville. Ha. I'm in Baldwin County. I live in Bay Minette and have a shop in Robertsdale I work at. As far as price goes, it depends on what ya want. All the work i do is custom made for each individual. For just a cleaned, whitened (peroxide not bleach), clear coated skull it is $65. I spray a high gloss clear coat on the skull, not the antlers. If you want it on a home made plaque with wall mounting hardware it is $85. Add $10 if you want a Euro cut. I also have a stockpile of driftwood and cedar posts. However, like I said though, all work is custom made so the price can vary widely. I have a Facebook page but haven't updated it in a while....Bone Worx. I'll give Skinny his 3% if I have any customers from Aldeer.

Illegal to possess any state traffic signs, barrels, cones or whatnot. I don't know about WMA signs specifically but it's hard to imagine there's a "it was on the ground" loophole.
Its hard to picture anyone investing a lot of trouble into prosecution but the odds it is legal would be close to 0%.

$65 a great price. I tell you what. I may be coming down middle of January on a church trip. Could I drop it off then and come back for it when I come to Beach in summer? It's not big but a buddy put me on it when I needed a buck then had an unbelievable tracking job.
