I can do both but mostly sit in ground blind. I don't like to stand in a treestand to shoot either because I worry about movement being detected. That's why I mostly shoot sitting. Why give deer an extra clue I'm there.
I have shot both. I like standing and shooting but if deer gets on me quick I can shoot sitting. I think we all practice mostly standing but you should do both as you can't determine what you will have to do
