I laid eyes on the one on the right during bow season. He was killed by a friend on MLK day. Score was 167 and some change.

Put my hands on a 155" my buddy shot a couple years back. Sadly I missed one in same spot last year that was bigger than that. Pushing upper 150's lower 160" oh and this was on public land too.

You must be thinking it is Rick Furgeson because it sure does look like him, but I don't think it is.

Can't recall Rick's last name right now! But he's from that area, worked Talledega security if I'm not mistaken.

I saw one by our place in luverne on hwy 331 right at Fullers crossroads. It had to be close to 160". It was back(8-10 yrs ago) when we had Nextel radios, and I hit my buddy up that was a couple minutes behind me and told him to look for it..he came back on the radio after he saw it and we pulled over and got in one truck and went back. We saw it again about 75-100 yards off the road when we turned around. We still talk about that deer to this day

We had pics of this one on our Montgomery County Lease back in 2011, but we never laid eyes on him.

Biggest I've seen while hunting I would guess at a little over 160". Biggest weight I've seen personally was a deer I killed that field dressed 193lbs.

Bbrown2293, is that land around ramer? If so, I know who killed him. I dont remember exactly what he scored but it was right at 170. Biggest Ive ever seen was 184" in bullock county. Most weight was one around highland home my dad killed years ago that weighed 265 lbs. He dwarfed the 21 inch wide 8 point rack on his head.

I don't know who he is. My friend in the orange hat is named "Scooter", I think his real name is James. He gave this picture to my dad at work a few days later.

I put my hands on a deer that scored around 160" + that was killed behind the Wal Mart on Troy HWY in Montgomery roughly 15 years ago.

With that being said, one of the biggest deer I have ever seen on hoof was standing in the swamp just south of Hayneville on the way to my place one morning. Once the headlights hit him, all I could see was trash and a drop tine. Don't know if he ever was killed or not but I do remember a few weeks later seeing a dead deer in the ditch without a head, around the same spot I saw that beast.

Biggest deer that I ever seen while hunting in bama was last January. I could not guess a score because of how fast it happened but he was big enough to where I couldn't even get the key in the four wheeler because I was so shook up. Even when I got to my truck, I had to sit there a while to collect myself before attempting to drive. All that I do I know is I had a buddy that shot a 152" 12pt in Choctaw county and this deer was noticeably larger in every way.

Bout 99% the deer in the pic with the 2 guys was killed on property bordering us. Double-ought buck is the dog club. There's a bunch of pics of that guy in the Crimson shirt at Chapman's off 4 there just west of 431. Pretty sure he works at talledega so maybe that's the guy your thinking about. They hunt land bordering us as well
