If you have a old beat up stand that you wanna get rid of, get a hacksaw and cut the joints half way. I bet they won't be climbing stands no more LOL

Its better to sit in a stand and think about God, then to sit in church and think about hunting.

Have you ever seen the movie Deliverance? That would teach them a lesson they wouldn't soon forget.

A few propped up dummy stands with no straps would work

If you purposefully sabotage the sand and they get injured of killed your guilty of a crime and will be charged.. Be careful with how you deal with them. Like BhamFred said, hit them in the pocket not yours.

It's funny to talk about setting various booby traps and whatnot, however...

Try to have them arrested for trespassing. If you booby trap them and they get hurt you they can sue you. Plus you could get criminal charges.

Try to have them arrested and hit them where it hurts!

Booby trapping is entertaining to discuss various methods, but definitely not the best thing to do.

Drill a hole in the ladder step in the middle and place a bolt large enough through it with a hole drilled in the end where the threads are and cut a piece of plywood a little wider than the ladder, drill a hole in it place it over the bolt and install a padlock. Hide the key nearby so you wont get to your stand and realize you left the key in the truck/utv..

Okay, I'm cool with all the jokes and other stuff, but I was serious about some type of cover that locks on over the steps and prevents someone from climbing the ladder. I haven't had anyone arrested yet, most won't come back when they see their about to get their azz stomped by a 300 lb gorilla but I trying to turn over a new leaf and try to live and act more like the Christian that I need to be. Sometimes it ain't easy when you are surrounded by people who, when they live close by ,believe it's ok to make a quick hunt. I have talked with the warden, signed papers to let them try to set up decoys to catch poachers at night , but when I complain of my problem, it falls on deaf ears. I am just trying to come up with a simple solution to keep them out of my stands . Thanks again, Johnny

I've never seen a cover for a ladder stand. Unless you make ones yourself.

Put this on the stand:

Then have cameras to back it up.
