I'm new to planting food plots. Question is--should I put lime and triple 13 out now and let them disk into the plots? was hoping to plant Lynx winter Peas next week or should I wait to put the lime and triple 13 out?

Lime the plot about 4-5 inches deep, then drag to level the dirt and cover lime. Then broadcast seed and drag again to cover seed. Fertilizing needs to happen during planting or a few days after. Lime can happen before as it won't take affect for around a year.

More lime , less fertilizer. Soil sample is best bet

I would put out both the lime and fertilizer and disk them in. How fast lime works is according to mesh size and soil type, usually 2-6 months. I've never heard of it taking a year.
