So I decided to go with the Traditions Vortek. It has a scope on it that came with the package, but I'm not sure that I don't want to upgrade the scope, maybe now, maybe later. Any who, have y'all experienced any difference in scopes as far as the need for a ML specific scope, or should I be good to go with any decent scope? Again, new to the ML world and didn't know if the increased recoil would throw the zero off...

Big fan of the Bushnell Banner Series. Own 3.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I've got a VX II on mine but I may give it to my son and I was thinking about getting one of the those 150 dollar Nikons.

Nikon buckmaster. They're reasonably priced, great glass, and have a great warranty and customer service.
