Like it or not that is what the Bible says....now I am not perfect and sometimes think the same worldly way as others have posted. It is hard not to want to repay evil for evil in these times, but that is clearly not what Jesus would have us do. Self defense is one thing,but the above post was way beyond self defense and would be no better than the evil that people are mad about. Furthermore I would seriously reconsider piling on someone for posting a Bible scripture if it stepped on your toes you should probably instead spend some time in self reflection if you a follower of the Lord.

FYI, on the guy shot in the neck/face. Not sure what lead to it, probably the picture incident mentioned, but there was an altercation inside of the Alley Bar between them. They followed them when they left and shot into the car. So at least not completely random. Prayers for the family of the victim. He was very lucky that he did not die.

That group of individuals likely includes Christians, believers of other faiths, and nonbelievers. Saints and sinners, and of course hypocrites. The same as any other group of individuals: Auburn fans, Bama fans, Nascar fans, members of your local church, the employees at your workplace. There are good and bad in all groups of people, just as there are good and bad thoughts and possibilities within each individual.
Thankfully, some people are firm in their convictions. I believe Wiley has voiced the opinion of many, that the time has come for "good people" to stand up and defend that which they have been entrusted with: personal property and most importantly the safety of our families and loved ones. While I respect the efforts of our law enforcement officers, several are members here, the reality is they are severely outnumbered in many areas by evil members of our society and they do not have the support of our liberal court system and lawmakers. Good people, saints and sinners alike, must stand against evil when and where it is found, and be willing to do so with whatever means are required.
The Bible is a sometimes violent book, with stories of hard men and women who defended their faith, families, and community against evil. On occasion, God's people took the fight to the enemy. Should good people in today's supposedly civilized society do any less?

I will admit that some of Wileys post shock me and they seem beyond racist. But, I do read his post to try to understand his opinion. Im for killing someone if you have to for defense... But being judge and jury of a "thug" isn't Christian.
I get offended as an American with the Obama slurs on here. It just seems like a large amount of yall could gripe about Obama without the racial slurs. You have every right to complain about his presidency but I believe you should respect the office of the presidency. That's why I couldn't stand Nancy Pelosi because she would talk horribly about George Bush which I believe diminishes the office of the presidency...even if you don't respect the man in my opinion you should respect the office.
