Any idea the cost for labor on hanging and finishing 140 sheets ?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

Mobile Area:
4 x8 sheet 1/2" drywall--hung, taped, floated, ready for paint
$1.35 per square foot (materials and labor).
32 sq feet per sheet; 140 sheets.
4480 sq ft x $1.35 = $6048 plus any applicable taxes, fees, permits, overhead and profit by contractor.
Breakdown by square foot: Material: $0.44 contractor supplied. Labor: $0.91 ($0.34 wage + $0.17 labor burden + $.40 labor overhead)
Labor only: $ 4076 @ that all-inclusive $0.91 rate. You can probably get a much better deal negotiating with a local drywall crew or subcontractor...less overhead will drive labor costs down.
Xactimate software pricing for Mobile/lower Alabama as of June 2015....gives an average pricing of the area.

I hang and finish everyday here in North Alabama! On straight 8 ft ceilings we start at .38 per board ft. 48 board ft in a 4x12x½ so it would be 6720 board ft x .38 would be 2553.60. Hung finished and sanded ready to paint with a knockdown finish on the ceiling. 140 boards is about 1900 sq ft of living space so it would be 40 boards on the ceiling x.50 for painting the knockdown so it would cost $960.00 to paint the ceiling with a flat white primer and paint. So grand total would be $3613.60.

I'm gonna have to make a special drywall pricing line for the future if $0.37-$0.38 per square foot is accurate.
I don't see how y'all are doing it for .38. That includes your labor burden and overhead too?

We don't do any commercial work. Only residential. Here around Marshall,Blount, Dekalb county you won't get any work if your over .48 cents a board ft. Hispanics will come in and beat us even at .38. We get extra for anything over 12 ft that we can't reach off of our stiltz and if we wrap windows or door we get $25-$40 per if they want bullnose corners they will be $10 each. I would love it if we could get it up around the $.75 -$1.00 per board ft. We start at .38 on 8 ft .42-.46 on 9ft .46-.48 on 10ft
