Harris gets another shot. I hope he is still the starter in week 3.

They have a player listed at the QB position. As we all know LSU has not had an actual QB, aside from Mettenberger, in many, many years.

So I guess they are not getting the graduate transfer from Ohio St? Last I heard they were working hard on him.

If it is Harris, my feelings about the game just went up a couple of notches on the positive scale.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Where did you hear this reb? I follow lsu pretty close and I haven't heard anything like that. Oh, and I wouldn't sleep on Harris just yet. I want to see what he can do for a few games befor I pass judgment on the kid.

I wouldn't bank on that one, yet. I'll have to wait and see what happens to Jennings first

They'll have a good team this year, but they'll still struggle to move the ball. It happens every year, it ain't gonna change this year. You know they can run it so everybody will load up the box to stop the run and they probably won't be able to take advantage of the defenses doing it because they can't throw

The temperature in Hell is dropping drastically. Phil and I agree on something. Most defenses can come up with a scheme to stop a halfback if he is the only weapon in the arsenal. If LSU doesn't find a QB, Fournette's potential will be severely limited.

I suspect the passing game will be better this year. Can't get much worst. If they even have the slightest passing game to compliment the run they should be a tough team to beat. Everyone is talking about fournette right now but i bet by the 3rd game Darrel Williams will be just as popular. The kid is a beast.

If this happens then Fournette will go down in history as one of the biggest busts in NCAA history.

. I wouldn't go that far. While at the spring game ( I know you can't base much off of it) Williams just looked really strong. Always picked up a few yards. Fournette had such a good spring they only fed him the rock a few times during the game. I guess what in saying is that not only do teams have to stop fournette, they also have to worry about the"backup", which I think isn't to much of a drop off. Time will tell though

I agree. Historically teams with two really solid RB's have had success. Williams/Brown at AU, Ingram/Richardson, Richardson/Lacey, Lacey/Yeldon, etc. at UA.

I just hope LSU can establish something, anything, in the passing game.
