somebody school me on cooking on this thing. I understand that for low and slow cooks your supposed to make a volcano with lump and light a small spot in the center but what if i wanna just grill some burgers or chicken. Do you get all the char coal burning and spread it around like you would in a regular grill so it will heat evenly

I'll light a few spots if I'm doing some regular grilling. Open vents a little more and throw down.

It doesn't really matter...you can stack it, light it, and then spread it out or spread it out then light it.

exactly...I read through the manual that came with my primo xl and watched the dvd, then threw them in the junk drawer in the kitchen. Began reading here and over on the Primo and BGE forums and learning the ropes and experimenting with different foods and cooking methods.
