This past weekend myself and a couple buddies decided to make a trip from Theodore Industrial Canal to Perdido Pass. None of us have been to the pass area for about 10 years or so. It took us just over an hour and a half to make the trip. Little long but overall a pretty fun trip. Stopped by Pirates Cove and donated a little for a fundraiser for autism they were having then made our way to Robinson Island. We usually hang out at the rivers around Mobile but the area over that way sure was a nice change for us and now that my girlfriend and her friends have caught wind of it, they are wanting me to take them as well. My concerns is the weather and crossing Mobile Bay with the girls in the boat. We had a small storm pop up on the eastern shore on the way back and it was wet to say the least until we hit the lighthouse. I have a Xpress H20B and with my boat I am a little limited to days when we can make a run like that and be comfortable. Is there anywhere close to the mouth of the intercoastal that I could launch without having to trailer my boat all the way to the GS/OB area? Or on the Eastern Shore? Id rather have a nice good boat ride than just launch and be at the pass in 10 mins if possible.

Weeks bay or Bon secour would be your best bet if you don't want to trailer your boat the whole way

Weeks bay and the fish river wouldn't be to far of a drive.

When coming out of weeks bay do you you still need to follow the pvc pipes out?

Wolf bAy is where I launch some times, so I don't have to deal with no parking and the launch ramp madness. It's a pay launch, but well worth it IMO.

My in laws have a place close to the wolf bay launch so that's where we've always put in,just have to be careful and not run off the end of the ramp with low tide,I've seen a few folks get wet and a few trailers get torn up over the years

Weeks Bay at end of CR 1 is probably your best bet. Not sure about the pipes, I haven't launched there in a long time. It was packed with boats last weekend, but still plenty of parking.
